The M1 Bayonet and M7 Scabbard are the primary bayonet and scabbard used by US military forces from 1943 to the 1950’s. The M1 Bayonet is based off the 16 inch M1905 bayonet (used from 1905-1943) but shortened to 10 inches. Like the M1905 bayonet, the M1 bayonet is capable of mounting to the Springfield M1903 and M1 Garand.
