Facts: The Colt Model 1860 was the most used revolver during the American Civil War and was used by both sides of the conflict. It uses a rotating cylinder that can contain 6 rounds of .44 cap and ball and fired from an eight inch barrel. It remained a popular revolver handgun until the late 1800’s.
