Info: The Glock pistol was designed in 1982 as a striker fired, short recoil action pistol. It also uses a high strength polymer frame, an uncommon material used in firearms of the time, allowing it to better adapt to extreme conditions such as extreme cold where metals can become brittle as well as being lighter weight than metal framed pistols.
